The wind tosses my hair about
Mist falls upon my face
Alone in a world unknown
In a forgotten place

Waves soar...holding a moment of glory
Until they fall
And upon the tattered shore crash

The tranquil new day begins
Grey skies slowly fade away
The tide shimmers under the sun
Gleaming under its morning rays

Light spills from the sky
Embraces the sea
Despite the strong blades of water

I long for a life of serenity
The day flows
This air I breathe is like nothing else
The light goes

Enraged waves lap up against black rocks
Despising the darkness
Holding onto the day

The breeze becomes infuriated
Strong winds chill the lonely night
The moon lingers far off in the distance
And the sea no longer tries to fight

It goes without saying that I love writing from the perspective of nature or relations between nature and humans.

Took me about ten minutes. Got stuck on the fourth paragraph.

It could use some work.
